University of Oxford offering students of Balochistan under Benazir Scholarship Program reported by a news channel 24newsHD TV. It is a hopeful development for the public of Balochistan.

Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sargraz Bugti is the first CM of Balochistan who addresses at Lady Margaret Hall of Oxford where the portrait of Benazir Bhutto is displayed and she studied there too. 150 members from Pakistan attended the event including Malala Yousafzai , senator Anwar Ul Hazq Kaakar , Muhammad Kishgi and prof. Muhammad Kamal.

CM Bugti said that the people of Balochistan who are unable to pay study dues would now be able to get education from the renowned institute of Oxford where the great leader Benazir Bhutto studied. He said that this initiative would be much helpful to meet the needs of education and to achieve a global academic standard. Challenges faced by students to get admissions in international universities are rooted out by taking this step.

CM Bugti highlighted that “ It is a basic commitment to education reforms and empowerment of Balochistan’s young generation”. He said that higher education plays a very important role to make a nation socially strong and also a helpful weapon to make a progressive society. These scholarships would create highly able and trained leaders for Balochistan . This is not just an aid for the unbearable financial crisis of Balochistan  but also to make useful citizens for the province.

Financial condition of the province is very miserable as people are unable to meet daily needs of living. In the situation of such difficulty it would prove a window of breeze for the able students who can’t afford to study at such a big institute. Hopefully this step would bring some new ways and seams to the people of Balochistan.
